Heading south on the M50 take exit 15 for Kiltiernan / Cornelscourt –  Remain on the R118 for approximately 3kms then turn right onto Church Road then left onto Killiney Avenue at the round about take the first exit and stay on Killiney Avenue for approximately 600m,  then turn left onto Killiney Hill / R119  Remain on the R119 for approximately 3 kms where it branches off on the left to Coliemore Road -take the Coliemore road for approximately 200m to Dillons Park on the right.

Description

A convenient evening shore dive for anyone living in the Dublin Area. Accessed thorough Dillons Park just south of Dalky village. Park on the road, unpack and head straight down towards the shore – easiest access point is in front of the houses to the left of the park (facing the sea). Enter the water on here, keep close to the shore as currents in the sound can quickly catch out an unsuspecting diver. Access / exit is not easy here, a lot of slippery rocks to negotiate is easiest at high tide. This is a popular spot for fishing so bring a knife in case you get tangled up – The dive bottoms out at about 10 to 12 m on a sandy seabed – expect visibility of 5 to 10 meters in good conditions.
