Take M9 from Dublin to Waterford , Approaching Waterford take first exit at Quarry Roundabout to next round about 500m on then, take 3rd exit to N25 Cork Road crossing Toll Bridge. Continue on N25 for approximately 50km to approximately 3kms beyond Dungarvan then take R675 for approximately 5kms, going through Ringville – Helvic Pier is approximately 1km straight ahead.

Description

From the car park take the footpath towards the small cove. Enter the water here before snorkeling out about 120m to drop down and dive around the rocks at the head. Try to return on a filling or slack tide – the journey would be quite tiring on an outgoing tide, and make sure you bring your snorkel, its a long trek to the dive site and you do not want to arrive with a half empty cylinder. Expect to see lots of starfish, anemones, and urchins.
